World Wide Knit in Public Day, June 13, 2009

For guild members:

Guild members met at the Petsmart in the Greenbrier Shopping Center on Saturday, June 13, 2009 to participate in the World Wide Knit in Public Day. The guild members enjoyed working on pet blankets for the Petsmart pet adoption program and enjoyed visiting with each other.

May 2, 2009 Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival Trip

On Saturday, May 2, 2009, the Tidewater Knitting Guild of Virginia went to the Howard County, Maryland Fairgrounds for a day at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival. Everyone enjoyed the yarn merchants, the sheep demonstrations, the festival food vendors and much more! We look forward to the 2010 Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival!

Gathering of the Guilds, April 4, 2009, at the Francis Land House, Virginia Beach

We participated in the Gathering of the Guilds on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Francis Land House, 3131 Virginia Beach Boulevard, Virginia Beach. Guild members displayed their knitted items and enjoyed knitting on projects while visiting with other guilds present, including the spinning guild and the quilting guild. Thank you guild members who joined us for this opportunity to share our craft with others!
